I'm trying to export the posts table to CSV but on PhP My Admin default settings it comes out as a broken CSV file.
I know it's something to do with separators and chracters I'm using in my posts and custom fields.
Does anyone know how to fix this please?
What separators can I use that won't be affected by any of the content I have in my posts.

I have a strange problem when trying to update or publish content. When clicking on update or publish I either land on the home page with a "page not found" error or I land on the main posts or pages screen. In either case, the changes I make are not updated.
I tried:
1. resetting permalinks
2. deactivating all plugins
3. changing themes
4. reinstalling wordpress
5. deleting the cache
6. different browsers
but nothing worked.
So I then tried another computer and I was able to publish and update content without a problem.
So I then:
1. did a virus/malware scan
2. uninstalled any recently installed programs
3. cleared the dns cache
- but still have the same problem.
After playing around a bit I also noticed that if I enter just 2 lines of text, or less, I can publish that content but anything over that and I have the same problem referred to above.
Everything else in my wordpress admin is working as it should and I can make and save changes to widgets, menus, etc but not posts and pages.
I'm having an error message on my wordpress site ( 403 forbidden nginx ) I look around on google but couldn't find a solution for this error for my website. Can anyone help me out with this problem?

When someone leaves a URL as a comment, in my notifications drop down I can see the image for that URL but in the comments below my post it just shows the URL text.
Is there anyway to get the comments box to grab to image also?

I've been breaking my head over this subject for the last week but I can't figure it out. And I think it is such an easy thing!!!
I'm trying to set a background image to my pages by default. So that all my page have the same background.
I've done this now with a plugin, but that meens that I have to set the image myself behind every new page I make. This is not such a big problem but the thing is that I can't seen to able to set the searchsite so this one hase no background at all. And since my image is a white block with low apacity (so you can see the actual background through the page) it leaves the seachsite without a background wich makes the seach results unreadable.
I hope you guys can still follow me.....
And another question I can't resolve is how I can make the image start a bit higher and a bit more to the left so it's enlined properly with te menu and the sidebar.

Since 2 weeks ago i started taking over the content management for a volenteer job. Last week I updated WP to 3.6 and all was just fine.
This Sunday I updated all the plugins that I already had and all of a sudden I can not edit the page builder anymore! I cant edit the content anymore and that is a big issue for us, as I need to post stuff on it on weekly/daily basis.

I did not build the website, I just update it at the moment, so my knowledge is not all that tehcnical in it (fresh noob in WP). The website uses Aqua Page builder.
Could someone please help me solve this step by step.

Hi there, I'm a newbie I'm afraid and I've read several posts on here about the same problem. I'm using the free theme Parabola, and can't seem to edit the home page content. In admin/reading, I've selected the front page to be static not a post, and I expected it to show up in the Pages section in my Admin panel so i could edit it, but it isn't there.

Hi. I am really new to wordpress so please be kind. I have built a website from a template and have it the way I want it. I wanted to put a blog in it so thought of using wordpress.
I really just wanted to just my html files for the main pages rather than use pages in Wordpress as I would have to transfer everything and I can't get it to look the same, I did transfer the index.html file to a page in wordpress and it looks ok but not the same. Is there anyway I can have my homepage as my index.html and just link to the blog from a menu?
My other menu options have been left linked to my html files which works great.

I've a question about integrating Wordpress to my site. My site is http://www.babylondanza.com. This is a site for a dance academy in Spain (Denia). I would like to make a News page to put latest news. In this News page I would like to show the latest 10 posts.
The code I'm using now is:

This code returns the latest articles, but I believe that this code returns all posts, not only the latest 10. It also gives the posibility of replying the post, but for the beginning I would like to get rid of this possibility. (It's a link with "Dejar una respuesta", that means "Replie this article" in Spanish.)
The way I would like to show the posts is:
- Picture
- Title (With author and date)
- Post
`
And is there a possibility to put css code on each element. For example: <span style="...">Title</span> or <span style="...">Post</span>
I hope there's a solution for this. (The site has to be finished tomorrow so I hope there's somebody who knows how to solve it...)

I'm using the twentythirteen theme. When I search only the excerpts are showed. Is it possible to show the full posts in the search result?
In an earlier version I modified the loop.php but I dont have that file in the twentythirteen theme.
I am getting an alert on my website that says:

I just updated my version of wordpress to 3.6 and this error started happening.

I have a blog through 1and1.com and when I logged in today to write a new blog, I got a message to update from WordPress 2.7 to 3.6. I followed the instructions and the installation failed. I contacted 1and1 and they told me to change clickandbuild to Free Mode. I followed their instructions and changed it and then it failed again. They then told me to change the permissions, which I did.
I followed all their instructions and now I'm getting error messages and they say I have to ask you because it's a WordPress scripting problem and they don't have programmers to decode errors.
There are two separate problems right now.
1. The update installation still fails and I got this message:

I can't add a new post, I can't change a post, I can't do anything. My existing blogs can be viewed by going to the page lostmyhearing.com, but I am unable to do anything with it. The site is basically dead.
Everything was fine until I tried to update and followed the 1and1.com instructions. Now they're passing me off to you and I have a broken site. I hope someone can help me.

I've added a new 'meta' named "firm". So a team member can be belong to firmA or to firmB. If the member is from firmA - the url above should show their profile.
The problem is that I want that: If the member is from firmB - this url: domain.com/firmB/our-team/john should show their profile.
Before doing any further changes , if I go to /firmB/our-team/john
wordpress will automatically redirect me to /our-team/john.
I've tried add_rewrite_rule without success.

Hi i'm trying to figure out why the gallery doesn't automatically play through the album. The play button doesn't work and the only way to view each image is by clicking on the next button. This is the lite version, i'm not the original developer but I've been asked to fix this issue. Any feed back would be much appreciated. Thanks

I am trying to create a Twitter App for our website and I created a Twitter app and generated the access codes, but putting them into the Genesis latest Tweet setting gave a Wordpress error with the text “Cheatin’ uh?” No idea what to do next as it seems to be a Wordpress issue.
Could anyone offer insight or help, Please.
