I have a wordpress install currently running on my site:
mysite.co.uk/wptest
(I can publish real URLs if requested).
And I want to move it to:
mysite.co/wptest
This is a new domain as you can see, it will be hosted on the same server, but will have a new path as well, paths are:
old:
/var/www/vhosts/mysite.co.uk/httpdocs/wptest
new:
/var/www/vhosts/mysite.co/httpdocs/wptest
I have tried backing up files, then going into old site and changing URL and path from wp-admin to reflect the new domain, then backing up the database and moving everything to the new location, but it does not work - I just get a page cannot be displayed on the new domain - it wont display homepage, or admin page or anything.
Now I have seen a more complex guide here:

Im wondering, should I be following that guide? Or am I missing something more obvious?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
