Hi,
I am using wordpress 3.5.1 and I have been getting problem uploading media file through wordpress. I use godaddy as web host and have no problem using their media upload or ftp filezila to upload media files.
- It is not a WP plugin problem b/c I don't have any installed.
- It is not a WP theme problem b/c I use twenty eleven theme.
- I deleted all the WP files and folders, and upload a new one; that did not work.
- Erased the database, re-create another one and re-install WP again and that did not work.
- I tried to change upload max file size, post max size, max execution time, max input time and wp memory limit, but nothing change.
- I used Linux shared hosting and I can't find .htaccess file so I can't change any mod security.
- I can upload very small files, but for larger files (around 700kb) I keep getting "http error" or "http 408/409" error after WP did a long crunching time on the media. I thought max upload size is 32MB?
- My SQL version 5.0 & Php version 5.3
- It does not work properly on Windows vista or Windows 8, internet explorer or firefox.
Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a way to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
