.Tiago. on "Deleted home page still appears to all non admins..."

I have taken over a community website, and did a total redo, I changed everything, perm deleted all previous pages and posts. So as I update the page, i reload it to see how it looks, and everything was great! Then I ask a friend to give me some feedback before launching the site, and gave him the URL, and it took him to the old version of the SITE!!!
So i noticed all admins see the new page, but every one else sees the old version. I do not know any code or css, and I am very lost......any help out there? The site is hosted by hostgator, not sure if that is useful info...thanks for any help provided!!
