Pamberjack on "How to get month to display as "1" instead of "01" in permalinks?"

Hi there.

I'm currently moving my blog from SquareSpace over to Wordpress. I've noticed that by default, Wordpress generates permalinks using this format:

‘http://website.com/home/2014/01/30/blah.html’

But I need to ensure it follows the SquareSpace format which looks like this:

‘http://website.com/home/2014/1/30/blah.html’

Note the ‘month number’ is displayed as ‘1’ and not ‘01’. I've scoured the support docs looking for %monthnum% variations etc. but with no luck.

Any chance someone could help me out?
