I recently purchased forumengine wordpress theme. Unfortunately the theme does not incorporate a static homepage (or frontpage). Instead, the homepage is simply recent threads that have been posted on, or created within the forum. It is not allowing me to display plugins; and to be specific, an image gallery or slider bar. Although, I want to keep the recent postings as well on the (fixed) home page. I hope this makes at least a little bit of sense. My site is http://www.symposiarch.org. I want to create a homepage that is similar in functionality as http://www.highexistence.com. How can I make this happen? THank you!
