Hello,

I'm fairly new to Wordpress so perhaps I just need a gentle push in the right direction to solve the little challenge I have.

I Wordpress I will have a small web shop. The web shop will have products/posts that belong to different groups. I expect to group the products by using categories and tags. It will look something like this:

Men (category)
- Jeans (tag)
- - Slim (tag)
- - Straight (tag)
- - Loose (tag)

Women (category)
- Jeans (tag)
- - Slim (tag)
- - Straight (tag)
- - Loose (tag)

So a pair of slims jeans for women will have the tag "Slim" and belong to the category "women". This part I know how to do. The part that confuses me is the navigation. What I want is a header navigation with the two categories "Men" and "Women". If I click "Men" in the header the left side navigation should change to show:

Men
- Jeans (tag)
- - Slim (tag)
- - Straight (tag)
- - Loose (tag)

If I instead click "Women" in the header the left side navigation should change to:

Women
- Jeans (tag)
- - Slim (tag)
- - Straight (tag)
- - Loose (tag)

If I'm in the "Women" category and click the tag "Slim", only posts with the tag "Slim" that belong to the category "Women" should be shown (posts belonging to "Men" should now be shown).

The type of navigation I am describing is standard in most ecommerce web shops, but I can't quite figure out how to achieve something similar in Wordpress. I would appreciate if someone can guide me in the right direction? It would fx. be nice if it could just be solved by finding the correct navigation widget to use.
