Nice2013 on "i want to make a site like i do with yola and webs & wix"

not sure what word press am using this is the site i am using biz.nf/free-wordpress-hosting.php i wanted to use joomla but its too difficult at this time so i am using wordpress to make web sites.
i need tips and maybe tutorials or somet like that my site with wordpress is nice.co.nf as you can see i am really struggling to add html and even adding text and images seems a difficult task at times i made this site in 10 mins pirateers.yolasite.com and it was so easy, am i doing something wrong? when i add html with html and java script editor i cant put it at the top of the page without deleting anything i have at the top of the page i think i will get the hang of wordpress soon just really need some advice from people who have made websites with wordpress and not bloggs. Any infomration and tips and criticism would be appreciated thank you : )
