I recently decided to switch from Blogger to Wordpress.

I moved my old blog entries from Blogger over to Wordpress.org

I have been working with getting my page to look the way I would like, with much confusion. I am very new to Wordpress and I am not very tech-savvy by any means. A lot of this lingo goes over my head.

Today I wanted to change my domain name.

My Site URL was: http://69.89.31.170/~withpean/

Obviously I wanted to have my own domain so that people could access it more easily than typing up that.

I called GoDaddy & purchased a domain and web hosting package from them and went through the steps of having it set up for Wordpress. I got off of the phone with the representative with being told that it was already set up for me on my Wordpress.

I go to my Wordpress and I can no longer log in. I am not sure how else to access my page other than through: http://69.89.31.170/~withpean/wp-admin as I was originally instructed.
When I type that link in to long into my wordpress dashboard, this is what Google tells me:

404. That’s an error.

The requested URL /wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2F69.89.31.170%2F~withpean%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 was not found on this server. That’s all we know.

I have tried this from Google Chrome AND Internet Explorer. Both are telling me the same thing. When I type in http://69.89.31.170/~withpean into my browser- a distorted version of my page pops up to view, but there is no access point for me. No links work.. nothing.

When I check GoDaddy for Wordpress- it tells me: Information: WordPress was successfully installed at http://withpeanutbutterontop.me/wordpress. Please use your Panel credentials to log in to the app.

When I go to the link- it takes me to a wordpress to log on. So I log in- tells me that my password is incorrect. So I went ahead and had a link sent to my email to generate a new password. I open the link in my email from Wordpress and Google tells me:

404. That's an error.

And that the requested login URL was not found on this server.

SOMEONE please help me! I am so very, very confused and frustrated.
