allanlud on "Turning Category Link Off"

Hi,

I'm using the twenty fourteen theme and on a single post page I want to have the category name appear, but not as a link. I've done some searching and from what I've found I might have to edit the category-template file in wp-includes (but not sure what to do).

Anyone any ideas on this?
