I am taking over a current website for a company. They currently have a website that is outdated and hard to update. I decided to build a wordpress blog so I can update and build the way I want.
Here is my question. If they already have their domain name, how can I build the site without changing the name over until I am done? Do I need to buy a new domain (Which I dont mind) and pay for hosting? I would prefer not buying hosting for a year when I only need it for a few weeks. Is there a way to build the site without having hosting?
Also, when I am done with the website, is their a way to transfer the website over to the original domain?
