Okay so I've got three blocks at the bottom of every page and every single block leads to another page with the entire content. So far so good.
The way it works now is that every block pulls the entire content out of its page. However I would like those blocks to show only a part of the content from those pages, respectively the excerpt.
<?php echo apply_filters('the_content',$b['aie_page_object']->post_content); ?>
I've tried to replace the_content with the_excerpt and some other bunch of things I found on the mighty internet but no results. There's no manual excerpt entered, I just want it to get the default excerpt, first 55 words.
Any workarounds? I'm fairly new to WP and I'd really appreciate the help.
