I've had this issue for the last few versions of WP. When I first log into my WP dashboard I see the notification that updates are available. However, when I go to the updates page or the plugins page no updates are shown and the notification disappears. Even if I refresh the update page nothing is shown. I've reinstalled WP 3 times now during 3 different versions and it has yet to solve the problem. Normally after a week or 2 of showing there are updates available the updates will finally show up on the update page to where I can update the plugins. Any ideas on a cause/fix?
