ScalableSite on "Email Notification & follow me"

I received 2 types of email notification to my personal mail box. When visitors signed up, it notifies me as new user registration. Also when visitors wrote a comment, it notifies me to moderate the comment (as I set it up). However, I don't see the same notice from dash board, it only shows the one who made comments.
My question is where did those new user records go? Too many new users registrations don't show up in my 'follow me' record either. Is it normal?
People sign up to 'follow me', I can see it on dash board, but those records weren't sent to my mail box.
