VegasAgent on "Add Another Sidebar To Be Used on Specific Pages/Posts"

I am currently using WordPress as a website with pages. Now I want to add blog posts. I have added posts and I have added a blog page to list all the posts in the main content portion of the blog page using the blog template dropdown.

However, I would also like to display all the blog posts by date and topic in a list using a sidebar. Currently I am using the Metric Child Theme and three column spread. Far Left Column is Secondary Sidebar (used for site navigation) and Far Right Column is Primary Sidebar (used for "other stuff"). I want to create a second Primary Sidebar to be displayed only on the blog page and all the posts.

I need to know 1.) how to create the sidebar, 2.) how to code it to pull in the dates and topics of the posts in list format, 3.) how to make the sidebar show up in the widgets, and 4.) how to add the sidebar to the specific page and posts where I want it to appear. I am totally brand new at this and not a developer, so I need a detailed description in the plainest language possible.

Thanks in advance for any help!!!
