I am getting the message "You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page." when I attempt to use wp-admin or access the dashboard on my site (canineconfidence.com).
Initially it was redirecting me to random page so I couldn't login at all. I resolved that by disabling all themes and plugins via cpanel which got me to a login page. Along the way I also checked the database (user settings correct). I am now logged in as admin and can access most of the WP control panel by going in via Themes on the drop down menu but selecting "Dashboard" still takes me to the error message.
I'd really appreciate any ideas as to what to do next. It is not a disaster as I can now access all the important stuff and seem to be able to edit fine etc. But it makes me nervous as there is clearly still something not set correctly and I would like to resolve it. I have reinstalled WP3.6 but the error is still coming up.
