I am trying to implement role based permissions to allow several groups of users to manage / control their own sub pages and restrict them to a subset of templates custom menu bar which they can manage themselves without being able to add to the sites / other menu bars.
So far I have tried to do this with a mix of two plugins - "Role Scoper" and "Page Lists Plus" but this combination without much success. Menus seemed to work fine but users needed full permissions to add custom fields to their pages.
Can anyone offer any advice please.
In essence, I would like to:
1. create multiple groups of users that can control the creation of additional pages under a particular "parent" page.
2. Restrict the group to only select from a subset of templates when adding / amending pages.
3. Restrict the group to be able to manage a custom menubar linked to the template without being able to add to anyone elses.
