This morning I performed two plugin updates, shortly after trying to access the website I receive this message:

A client website use 2 language for its news. Just for news, the rest of the contents will use English as its main language.
I need to make a page that list all the news from a certain categories. To make it as a list, there is a plugin that i can use to achieve this. My problem now, i need to create the list side by side where english on the left and the other language on the right. Its like a table, or list with paginated contents.

I have become very impatient with wordpress. I love the layout of my blog, so thats why I don't switch platforms.
I don't know how to do html so please speak in a way a person that doesn't know html would know how to respond!
When I write a post, I insert pictures with no problem. If its in a gallery, it will publish, but I don't want to use the gallery setting. I just want to flat out insert the photo into the blog.
When I publish the post, only text shows, no photos show. I insert everything correctly and it doesn't have to do with the theme because I've gone back and forth from theme to theme and published posts and the same thing happens over and over again.

FOR SOME REASON Social NETWORKS STOP DETECTING THE FEATURED IMAGES SET.
The wrong thumbnails appear while sharing to social networks, (sometime only same 3 appear)(while another time others show, its like the image not updating in the system for at times pics uploaded earlier shows up as thumbnail for later posts)
I thinking this problem is between jetpack or All-In-SEO (However i cant find where to fix it)
PLEASE NOTE that everything was working ok until about 5days ago.
Also the featured Image appears in the widgets(e.g. recent posts tab) on the site as they should but not while sharing.
Please note that these older posts don't have an inserted pic but they show correct thumbnail, Taken from the featured image.

I am constantly fighting with DreamHost who blames the scripts of WordPress. The software is supposed to be easy to use. It's been running for years but always with problems. There have only been a few good months out of my entire time running WP where I haven't had problems.
1. Logging into the dashboard keeps telling me I don't have cookies enabled when I definitely do. I always have to log in twice since the latest update.
2. Navigating anywhere once the dash decides to open either takes forever or times out.
3. If I get the chance to open a post to draft, I can't add images because they also either error (with some kind of HTML error & option to dismiss) or don't load at all. I have a library and it won't load. Uploading new won't work.
Every time I go through DreamHost support they only care about selling me on VPS which my tiny site with < 1000 hits per day does not need. Clearly there is a disconnect between WP and DH.
when the auto saving draft starts it never stops and the publish button grayed out. i dont know why its happend lately.
any clue?
I was hired to work on a Wordpress site that was set up by someone else (who no longer works here), and I am turning around in circles.

I am trying to make a new category (Community Outreach) and put it underneath "Awards" on the left hand column (http://www.pkwa.net/category/published_links/). "Awards" and "Published Links" are both previously existing from the previous employee, and are found underneath the "News" header tab.
My question is, how do I add a new section, like "Awards" or "Published Links", but "Community Outreach"? I have tried adding a new category on the admin side, but it doesn't place itself where I would like it to (actually just sort of makes its own page).
Ultimately, I would like to have this "Community Outreach" page linked to the same topic on our "About" header tab (http://www.pkwa.net/category/about/), but that "Community Outreach" page isn't working either.
I would appreciate any and all help. I have FileZilla installed on my computer, so I am able to use PHP, though I am just learning how. Thank you!

When I view my pages while I am logged in as admin nothing is wrong.
However, when I am viewing my pages while I'm not logged in as admin something strange happens: a spam link is added near the footer.

I have no clue how to resolve this problem, I want to remove the link, I have checked all template files, CSS files, PHP files and searched for 'happy wheels' but it didn't find anything.
How can I fix this? I will make a donation to the person that can help me solve this.

I used to be able to type my blog posts in word and copy and paste into the blog but now it won't paste. I would like to avoid retyping everything. Please help.
I used to receive Email Notifications when a comment was made and approved. Now after I changed over to Godaddy Hosting, it doesn't work.
The way I changed/moved hosting was that I let Godaddy hosting install WP. Then I just imported the Wp-content files to the fresh install, and i loaded up the mysql on it's new DB.
Both of these are checked:
Anyone posts a comment; A comment is held for moderation
This is what I've tried so far:
-Changed to default theme
-Disabled all plugins
-Tested Password Change (to receive email; I'm receiving email from wordpress@comprarmag.com)
- Deleted DB tables and Plugins that I'm not using (was using Capability Manager Enhanced, Buddypress, Press Permit, S2 Members - but I have some roles from BP and S2 that do not go away)
-Even spoke to Godaddy to see if they had an idea
-Pluggable .php was just looked at...not sure what to do there (I mention this file bc I read online about Comment Notification errors but the forum was 6 years old)
I don't know what else to do. Any ideas why the Comment Notification Emails are not being sent to Author or Administrator. Or any routes I should take to ameliorate the problem...

When I try to login to my site, I am taken to the "not found" page: "Apologies, but the page you requested could not be found. Perhaps searching will help." I cannot access the administration UI.
Also, my login page seems to be void of any styling. Instead of the WP logo and the login form centered nicely on the page, it is just text only. It was working fine just a couple of days ago.
Apparently my client is able to login just fine, though. I've tried clearing my cookies and cache, and cookies are enabled. I tried logging in from a tablet on a different network, and still get the same error.
I have access to FTP, and have tried removing my captcha plugin (SI Captcha) and Better WP Security, but that didn't work either.
Any suggestions?
Hi guys. Tearing my hair out now. So, made the mistake of using All-in-One Event Calendar by Timely.
After experiencing massive cpu usage I found the fix that they had on this page limiting excessive crawls
That was back in WP version 3.6 and it worked. when 3.7 came out all the problems erupted again and then multiplied, as follows.
1. the fix now longer worked.
2. I uninstalled the plugin, but it left thousands of lines of code in the database, and the crawling continued.
3. I deleted every page or post that had anything to do with that calendar, and deleted every reference I could find to it in the database but the crawling continued.
4. Much of the crawl was from google, but much of it was from elsewhere. I blocked out google by discouraging search engines from indexing the site for a few days. The excessive crawling continued from many other places however.
5. I changed the directory in which WordPress resides in the hope that this would remove the site from the targeting of this crawl but to no avail.
I cannot understand why many spiders (lots from China IP 180.76.6.xxx etc) keep hitting my site, crawling pages like
calendar-2/action~agenda/page_offset~-1/time_limit~1385251199/cat_ids~14,16,168,5
and
ai1ec_event/sunday-service-munno-para/?instance_id=933 HTTP/1.1" 403 917 "-"
These events have long been deleted from everything on the site.
6. So I used iQ Block Country plugin to block China, but I'm still getting those crawls from China plus others from elsewhere, mostly crawling relics from all-in-one event calendar that are no longer on the site.
7. HELP! ... I think I'm at my wits end, and out of ideas. Can anyone else help me?
Site looks fine from the front end, just keep getting warnings from my host that I'll be shut down if that cpu usage doesn't go down.

I went to add a post to my site and the visual editor shows a blank page, also editing features are missing. The site seems fine. I have not installed any new plugins, just updated. Theme is Mantra - I have posted on the theme forum also.
Any suggestions on how to fix this would be most appreciated. The site has been running without any issues for 9 months.
I have cPanel on shared hosting I'm using and it has an option for hotlinking protection, which seems to be working fine with a Wordpress install that has pretty permalinks disabled (uses the /p?=xxx link structure) - in this case it does deny hotlinking.
However, it doesn't seem to work with a Wordpress install with pretty permalinks enabled: even if the cPanel option for hotlink protection is on, I can still hotlink to images in that Wordpress install which uses pretty permalinks...
Both my Wordpress installs are in separate directories in the html root directory, which I have a domain linked to, so it looks something like this: http://mydomain.com/wordpress1/ and http://mydomain.com/wordpress2/. I saw that cPanel writes hotlinking protection rules to .htaccess file in the html root directory. Wordpress creates another .htaccess file in its installation directory (wordpress1) when pretty permalinks are enabled, and the rules in it seem to be overwriting the rules set up in the root .htaccess file...
In this case, can I just copy the hotlinking protection rules inserted by cPanel into html root .htaccess file over to the .htaccess file generated by the Wordpress install which is using pretty permalinks? Would that work to restore hotlinking protection?
